Why purchase?
The applets are shareware, and there is only one limitation imposed on them when not licensed:
When you run the applets on a web site, the applets will link to durius.com.
If this is not a problem for you then you are free to use the applets on as many sites as you like without purchasing!
If you don't want the applets to link to durius.com, then you want to purchase a license. With a licensed applet you can link to what you want, or choose not to have the applets link to anything at all.
How does it work?
When purchasing, you supply your domain name and receive a registration code instantly by E-mail. Next, you insert the registration code into the 'reg' parameter in the applet tag. The registration code unlocks all of the applets for your domain name, and your domain name only. Now the applets will run as registered in as many pages as you want on that domain name.
If you havent decided on a domain name yet, then you shouldn't purchase until you do decide. You won't be able to transfer the registration code to another domain, not for any reason!
If you have several domain names pointing to the same physical files, then you will need to register once for each domain name. In this case, you can insert several registration codes into one applet tag by separating the codes by a single space character.
Sub-domains are considered separate domains. This means that for "myname.durius.com" and "hisname.durius.com" you will need two different registration codes. The only exception is that "www.durius.com" and "durius.com" are considered as one domain, and will only need one registration code.
